WASD Students Visit PSU Berks For Engineering Day

Wyomissing Area students (and Dr. Liskey) were invited to Penn State Berks to tour the engineering department and facilities at the college. They learned about many different types of engineering, such as electrician, mechanical, biomechanical, and system-processing engineering by participating in engineering activities and a Q&A with current students and professors. Students learned about career paths in engineering and what studying engineering is like from a college student's perspective. The day helped to immerse Wyomissing Area students into the world of engineering and exposed them to future options related to their engineering studies. This was a great opportunity to expand our student’s passions and interests!
