Student-Athletes Commit to College

With family, coaches, and friends by their sides, 11 Wyomissing Area High School seniors committed to continuing their athletic and academic careers at various colleges and universities:

Sidney Barrer signed her letter of intent to play basketball for Arcadia University. She will major in sports management.

Matt Driben will run cross-country and will be a member of the track and field team at Brandeis University. He will enter as an undecided major.

Vanessa Camille signed her letter of intent to cheer for King’s College. Vanessa will major in physician-assistant studies.

Joe Cullen will run cross-country and will be a member of the track and field team at Duke University. He will major in economics.

Camryn Hardy signed her letter of intent to play soccer at West Chester University. She will major in political science.

Quinn Hogue signed his letter of intent to wrestle at Elizabethtown College. He will major in general engineering with concentrations in mechanical and electrical engineering.

Lauren Gechter signed her letter of intent to play volleyball at the University of Pittsburg at Johnston. She will major in biology and secondary education.

Joe Marez signed his letter of intent to play lacrosse at Neumann University. He will major in biology.

DeShaun Wilson signed his letter of intent to play football career at Shippensburg University. He will major in business and finance.

Jaxton Taylor signed his letter of intent to play soccer at Elizabethtown College. He will study to become a physician’s assistant.

Owen Pendergast signed his letter of intent to play football for the University of Mississippi. He will major in business.
